Dr. Luisa Lori

My name is Luisa Lori (Solak). Hello and welcome! I’ve been in practice since 1992 in Ann Arbor, MI. I earned my professional degree in 1989 from National College of Chiropractic (National University of Health Sciences) in Chicago, IL. I also have a B.S. degree in Human Biology and radiology and physical therapy certifications. I returned to Michigan near family. After settling in and marriage, I opened up my own clinic on Carpenter Rd. and never looked back. I sold my practice on Carpenter many years later and eventually began a new business as a substitute doctor for other clinics. I’m still doing this today but have been captivated and spoiled with LaBo Chiropractic’s patients and staff and Dr. Heidi - Which is why I remain here since October 2015, until they boot me out!

I love people and their life stories and the stories their bodies tell me as I get to know them better. Each person’s health story is as different as one’s person’s nose to another. There’s a story to every ankle sprain, broken bone, surgery, back ache, - you name it and I’m still surprised at what I hear! Some things are alarming, some are hilarious.

I love to learn – it’s a good thing being a doc and all - and in doing so, I’ve encountered doctors who have connected certain dots for me. They are the kind of people who seek answers to big problems and conduct their own research in their clinics and have come up with incredible facts and out-of-the-box treatments. Just a few examples are: Dr. David Brownstein who is an MD who started focusing on low iodine levels in patients according to his testing results. He looked at salt and what has happened to the health of people worldwide when they took iodine out of salt. He ended up having to write a book about it. They’re putting the iodine back in. Dr. John Upledger is an osteopath who began working with cranial and sacral rhythm in the body and seeing incredible breakthroughs with children with brain damage with his therapy. Cranial Sacral Therapy is now widely taught among health professionals and massage therapists. Dr. George Goodheart is the father of Applied Kinesiology. He was a chiropractor and took the research and techniques of doctors in different fields and began muscle testing the body to ask it what it needed or what was making it sick. Over 50 years ago he was muscle testing to see if chemical issues, improper musculoskeletal foundation, cranial sacral or acupuncture meridians were the cause of the problem and asking the body what it needed to heal. His method is used everywhere in the world and integrates so many facets of health. We see his approach and language everywhere now, but this was not so when I started out! This is real stuff folks! It’s neurologically, electrically and chemically based in the body. I have studied their work and proved it myself and know it works. Such fascinating people! These paradigm shift changers are the most humble people I could have ever met. There are even more but I don’t have the room!

I would love to meet you and hear your story. Hopefully, we can be part of your story to health and stabilization.

Dr. Jessica Goldberg

Dr. Jessica’s passion for chiropractic began in Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up as the
daughter of two chiropractors, she developed a fascination for the profession and its
philosophy of natural healing. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University
of Vermont, her love of chiropractic led her to Life University in Atlanta, GA where she
graduated Cum Laude. During her time in the chiropractic program, Dr. Jessica studied
and trained in various low force techniques, while focusing on the treatment of special
populations including pediatrics, pregnancy and the elderly. She has since settled in the
beautiful state of Michigan where she is excited to provide safe and effective chiropractic
care to the community. In her free time, Dr. Jessica enjoys hiking, cooking, yoga and
spending time with her family.
